Free Treatment Evaluation

All of our Licensee’s offer a free treatment evaluation to determine the best treatment modality for prospective patients. The opportunity to provide information that can be evaluated by family members is part of the education necessary to make a confident treatment decision. This is best accomplished when as many of the family members can attend and participate in the evaluation process. As a result of this policy, the family or close friend(s) can assist the potential patient in making a treatment decision that is based on evidenced based medically managed dual diagnosis criteria.

It is recognized that many potential patients are under stress/anxiety/withdrawal and need the rational assistance of family members/friends, when making such an important decision like where to seek treatment. Additionally, the all-important financial details can be discussed, as many potential patients do not seek treatment until the “wheels have come off” and assistance with a reasonable down payment is usually the biggest hindrance to getting started with treatment.

The intake manager is skilled in motivating patients to accept treatment and for those that are under financial stress, the ability to refer to providers supported by the community or state financially. If the potential patient has insurance, it will be necessary to confirm and certify the benefits that can be expected. Many times this is a time consuming and difficult process best preformed by an experienced person, who understands the reimbursement process and the varied details of each kind of policy. This certification of benefits can make the difference in the affordability of treatment services and is preformed by all intake managers.
